Complexities Vs Simplicities ... of the mind!

Oh well thankfully I was home this year and I had an off for Ganesh Chaturthi, so I did my little bit :) Happy Ganpati and Eid Mubarak to everyone... Big Hugs !! May all of you get showered with blessings and may you and your family continue to be healthy and happy always. I also saw Dabangg yesterday and I enjoyed it an awful lot, esp the songs and kick-ass no-sense action. It sure is a good choice for some meaningless laughter with family and friends. Love...

I just wanted to post what I did to celebrate today. Well thanks to Bonnie I found out ki aaj Ganesh Chaturthi hai and I was really happy so besides eating modak which we got yesterday, this is what I made... I got the tiny Ganeshji atop my "cellphone pillow" from school as a farewell memento. He usually sits on my table, but today I made him a lil comfortable :) And the rangoli is my early morning handiwork. :) PS: One of my cousins said that I'm becoming marathi day by day. I just smiled in response.

Well when I first heard "Window" being the Le-Titre theme this month at Cuckoo's , I thought of the window sill in my room, then I thought of a nice french window overlooking a beautiful garden, and then I thought about a bigger window, something that can capture everything in its frame. Books! Books I believe really are the window to the world . You can see the whole world in em, places you haven't even been to. :) *smiles*

Dunno if you guys have figured it out yet but here's the history again to refresh your memory. Happy Yellow Flower Anniversary everyone!! Its funny that it all started with a simple lil oleander that someone else picked for me. And I mean that quite literally. Confused? Well I wrote this on board flight QR 78 headed to Doha from Houston after I'd just finished watching DDLJ for the umpteenth time :) In the aftermath of DDLJ, I'd like to say that Love is indeed a beautiful feeling. Though you might not always get the one you love to be with you, and you may not have people who understand your pain and emotions but love is never something you'd wanna turn back. Regardless of its outcome it is always a cherished experience. With just a lil over an hour left before we land in Doha, I'm gonna repeat myself: "I love being in love!" This is the post I mentioned I was gonna write. Where do I begin? I’ve had loads of bad days with a few good ones thrown in. I have never been this confused and frustrated and more so confused about the cause of my frustration. That’s prolly why it’s taken me weeks to resurface after my exams. May has been fairly eventful for loads of reasons, right after my last post I had our farewell contributory party, finally got a reason to get dressed and party :P. ‘Twas loads of fun and dance but we all knew that it’ll be a long time before we can have a reunion. Then on 8th we had the university final year CSE project competition. Redoin the presentation, preparing and all of that took time but it all paid off in the end and we secured the second position. Nowadays it seems like I only make my appearance here for Le-Titre... :P But then as the newsflash from my desk reflects, my sister is here in India for her 3 week long vacation after eons... 5 and a half years. Its that time of the month again... I know pretty paradoxical, but have you ever been so loaded with things to do that 'on paper' you barely have time to relax but yet you have so much time on your hand that you're bored to death? I can't find better words to explain whats goin on. I went through my entire blog list, caught up with pending posts and since it was a mammoth task to begin with, I took a break when I had just two blogs to finish (80 posts though). Now the break stretched long enough for my list to get populated again :( The problem here is that I can't really 'write' before I read so even though I want to write and be active here, its not happening. And I know I'm not makin much sense here but that's how it is. Anyways we had a belated housewarming get together kinda thing on 22nd Feb. Mum had organized a Sai Baba Keertan and dinner. Okay for this month's Le-Titre @ Cuckoo's I was very confused, infact I still am... I really like both these pictures and it was hard to choose one for my entry. This was when my brother and my sister in law were leaving for their honeymoon, I clicked a bye bye pic but bhaiya moved at the last moment. The result looks really cool. And this one is from the night of yummy mcveggie :P I think it looks like someone lit fire in it. After a lot of thought, I've decided that this is gonna be my entry for this month's Le titre . In other stuff, I get completely lost sometimes. Well this is what happened, one of my friends sent me a really nice wallpaper for Valentine's so after I downloaded it, clicked on "Set as Desktop Wallpaper" to see how it looks. Then I wanted to revert back to the one I previously had and I just couldn't remember what it was. I had to go through my entire picture folder to finally figure out which one of em was my wallpaper mere minute...

There again I was busy getting bored outta my head when I didn't absolutely have to study for my exams, watching movies, reading silly romance novels back to back, maybe coz atleast there I'm guaranteed a happy ending... all this while I really should have been getting back to the place I love... here !! I've got loads of stuff to say, about whats been happenin in my life but its just a lil too overwhelming to spill that much information so I'm gonna go slow... Un I wasn't sure if I was even gonna be able to make time to go but I did... and went to the NSIT fest with my friends today. And guess what? I flew...:) One of the events that was happening at this fest was Para sailing except that I didn't get to fly over a water body, 'twas a soccer field instead. I was very indecisive before doin this, ummm no I wasn't scared but a tad bit nervous... I just wanted to do it right and not have like a terrible fall, or fail to lift off the ground and embarrass myself in front of my friends. Thankfully none of that happened and I managed just fine... infact I even was told later by the instructor, the guy driving the jeep that I did pretty well :)... {Oh I have to tell you about him, he was wearing a pale pink tee, had some kinda moisturiser lotion applied liberally on his face... prolly to protect his 'delicate' and 'sensitive' skin from the wrath of the afternoon sun, had this oh-so-urban accent and threw his hands ar...

This'll sound funny to most people but Monday night was the first time that I stayed the night at a friend's place in my entire adult/semi adult life!!! Yup you got that right, I've been blessed with overprotective parents and siblings, just one of those things when you're the youngest and the most pampered in the family. It so happened that Mum didn't protest too much on Monday and thats how Bubbles and I ended up staying up talking, exchanging movies and stuff till almost 5am. Wow now thats exactly not a 'sleepover' :D I woke up pretty late (11:40am) by common code of conduct in a house that is not your own but no one seems to have minded. Aunty (Tanuj's Mum) is actually really sweet. :) Monday was like the most fun I've ever had (though I missed Bonnie a lot) Bubbles and I talked a lot, watched TV together, ate lunch and discussed Harry Potter over dinner, troubled Tanuj :P, listened to songs on my laptop, looked at pictures and she clicked loads...

Ummm as I was sifting through all the pics on my comp so i could decide my entry for Cuckoo 's Le Titre this month, I went thru and relived so many sweet and silly moments that I decided I needed to put all contenders up :) The entry will be mentioned explicitly.
