!

I just got home after my first end sem exam and the grey cells have already been prodded .... heres something that my old friend/acquaintance left me as an offliner on yahoo... on getting officially, legally and 'otherwise' divorced today, i realized as one of my friends said - SOMETIMES it's the fact(s) of life- we make them cry who care for us, we cry for them who don't care for us and we care for them who will never cry for us. This just had me stirred ... the sheer verity of the statement !!!

Reason, Season or Lifetime ???

Image
The following in an email i might have received quite a few times from different people, but the reason why I'm writing about it follows right after: People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered ...

Tagged ... yet again

This time Bonnie came up with the idea that we tag each other while we were playin the "One word game" {another one of my smart ideas ... lol} She tagged me to write 35 [:O] wierd unknown facts about myself. Well before I get down to this task, lemme explain that this is as difficult (if not more) as finding a needle in a haystack and why if you may ask...simply because I'm an open book to most of my friends and as for ppl who don't know me, unke liye kya known aur kya unknown...hai ki nahin? Chalo enough explanation done...I'm gonna get to work...here comes the list: One last thing, these are in no particular order just wrote as they came to mind My favorite color is bottle green and I flash my best smile whenever I come across that exact shade of the color palette in the form of anything. I am quite like the sand, meaning it doesn't take me much time to calm down after a huge row or after loosing my temper which happens very rarely. [The sand heats up and co...

Beauty comes from within!

I just happened to watch the last part of this episode of Oprah on the telly today and i just wanted to share it with u guys. Oprah had shown a story abt this woman who was set on fire by her abusive husband.....it just was amazing lookin at the amount of courage she had coz even after what she had gone through ...she still chose not to say anything bad abt her husband. When asked by Oprah whether she believed him when even after he'd hurt her or beat her, he wud say that he loved her....she said she didn't really believe him, she knew something was wrong...but she knew it was not her fault. Then after Oprah conveyed to the audience Yvette's husband Roger's attorney had declined on his behalf the offer to participate in the show...she asked Yvette: "Would u like to say anything to him, if anything?" Yvette said and I quote If u can't say anything good, don't say anything! That I thought was an extremely nice thing to say... Besides that they talked abt...
