A young girl, who is quite charming, easily miscible with people of varied interests and thoughts, pretty in her own way stares at her own reflection in the mirror glass.
Her eyes smile at what she sees, she observes closely her hair, clutched carelessly behind her neck, many stray strands finding place on her flushed cheeks, resting unperturbed on her forehead. She twinkles as she watches charcoal needle like earrings dangle from her earlobes. She runs her finger caressing the black and brown beads adorning her neck.
She feels beautiful today... she does not everyday, but today she likes her appearance.
And yet she is not happy,she feels lonely, unlonged for, and unworthy! She fears never having anyone to run fingers through her hair, to compliment her making her blush pink in the face, to want to hold her for a just a lil longer, to think of her every waking hour and want to make her feel loved. Her eyes moisten as a teardrop escapes from the corner of her eye temporarily diluting her reflection in the glass.
