Happy Ganpati

I just wanted to post what I did to celebrate today. Well thanks to Bonnie I found out ki aaj Ganesh Chaturthi hai and I was really happy so besides eating modak which we got yesterday, this is what I made...

I got the tiny Ganeshji atop my "cellphone pillow" from school as a farewell memento. He usually sits on my table, but today I made him a lil comfortable :) And the rangoli is my early morning handiwork. :)

PS: One of my cousins said that I'm becoming marathi day by day. I just smiled in response.

This is just something i scribbled on my notes at 3:03am this morning... I can handle the distance when you're far away But I can't handle the distance when you're right here! Random Update & Artwork

Hmmm so my exams ended and I was supposed to be free these past two weeks but i really wasn't. My sis in law was here and we were rarely at home, she had to meet so many relatives before goin back to the US. Anyways now that she's gone and a post has been due for longgg I'd better not delay it any further. I don't have anything super exciting to write about except that I'm gonna be starting my project training (first tryst with 'work') this Monday and I'm hopin I'll enjoy myself and feel productive at the same time. Besides that I've been listenin to pretty much the same songs since the beginning of the month... now with my playlist being extended to include loads of old Rafi songs and quite a few by Paolo Nutini {Bubbles' recommendation :)} And this month had birthdays of some really special ppl and some new frnds, Bubbles and Zahid on 12th, Pratham on 15th, Ankur on 17th and Supriya (my school frnd) who has her birthday tomorrow on the ...

Dreaming…Eyes wide open

As the title suggests this is one of my dreams which I see with my eyes wide open… I was tagged by Maverick long long ago and I thought this could be used as an answer to his “ Reveal your dream ” tag. Even though I dream a lot, I managed to say this out loud only days ago pretty much to my surprise as well :) We were talking about one of his friends getting married and that’s how I ended up talking so much. Well just so you know, I wouldn't mind marrying an undergraduate… Wouldn't mind stayin in Mumbai… Would even learn to talk in Marathi, thodi bahut kaam chalau types till I learn the entire language… Wouldn't mind cooking for you… Wouldn't mind wearing a saree a lot more often than I had planned on... just coz you like it :) … And honey you won’t have to worry about your backache…I'll be there to rub iodex on it.
