A walk to remember

Dated: 11th January 2008

As the brilliant hues of the sky outside of the metro drain away rapidly I begin to replay some moments of the day.
A day out with friends to the Auto Expo 2008 was loads more than just fun. A day of ‘ooh’ing and ‘aah’ing at hotties that weren’t necessarily beautiful pieces of machinery ;)

Thanks to Kartik we managed to visit during business hours otherwise it gets way too crowded to even move properly, forget lookin at the cars and bikes.
I’m not posting any car pics since you’ll find loadsa those on the net. Plus I didn’t take any, my guy friends with cams did.
Highlights of the day:

• The super windy weather… boy it was chilly.


• Tata Nano, I’m so buyin that cute lil car, lets hope butterin Dad pays off. :)


• The company of the people I love…my friends! {all of us had gone out after long}


• Had to say “no” to two cute guys. Lol had to say “No, both these chairs are occupied”. :P This was at the real crowded food court and we were holding chairs for our friends to join in.
  
  Lovely flower that i decided to capture, at the food court where we ate.


• Hyundai’s concept car…which was just super. Skoda and BMW exhibits. Honda’s Civic hybrid with the transparent bonnet was equally enticing.
  
  Thats me in the shadow of the Skoda logo that i realllly like.


• Candy floss…its great to indulge and be a kid sometimes.


• The moment when I decided to turn the day into a post.

We were about to leave for the nearest exit and the wind was whipping against my face, just when both Namita and I heard…”Bahut khoobsurat hain aankhen tumhari”
She exclaimed “Jagjit Singh!” and we both perched ourselves on top of the railing outside Pashu chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya or whatever the name of that place was…soakin in the music.

I dunno about Namita but what I was feeling was chills down my spine and a picture that went like......
The windy Delhi winter evening, me and my someone sharing a cozy shawl, walkin hand in hand to keep warm. Picture perfect. Couldn’t think of any words that we would have said to each other though.
