Two Stories and more ...

Well I can't promise to be a regular with this thing after my hols get over, so lets just say I'm making hay while the sun shines......hehee
Ok well yday was just another day, nuthin out of the ordinary. I did everything i usually do....orkutting, chatting with Bonnie, talking nonsense, listening to music, all this till about 10 pm...by which i was left with nuthing to do.
And since I'm not an early riser during hols in any circumstances and also am a self confessed ncturnal bird, I had a lot of time on my hands and no work.
I had already finished reading Oliver's Story by Erich Segal.
{ This book is the sequel to the very famous 'Love Story' which btw i hadn't read }
The book's a good read but I didn't quite dig the end....why does it always have to be sad? [By always i mean that i had heard that Love Story also has a sad end]
The way I'd like to best put the book forward is that its one of those romances that one would wanna enjoy reading, sitting in a cozy rocking chair by the fireplace!
Ok so this was done ... and i guess i was readin some random stuff off of the net when my dad came into my room to hand over his cellphone on which my bro had called.... apparently ive been babblin abt havin nuthin to do thus quite predictably so i had nuthin new to talk abt either with my bro.
After the small banter abt my plans for new year's eve {oh btw i do have plans.... we're goin to DSOI... yay , so much better than sittin at home watchin specials on the tube :D} bhaiya came to plans for my hols....i told him i hadn't planned on anythin ... okay i admit wrong sentence coz i triggered him off to flashback to my summer hols....oh well they weren't exactly what i wud call productive and that indeed was the topic of discussion. I had taken driving lessons this summer but i haven't gotten my license as of yet, also thought of learning Spanish....even tried takin classes but that hadn't worked out as well. My bro had just one thing to say "u don't take things to logical conclusions, and if u don't do it now u won't have time later!"
Post that conversation i was evidently bugged {coz i didnt have answers for my bro and was left to just nod } but then i did manage to shake it off ....
Here's when the second story comes in the picture.... At around 1 am when my frnd who i had been chattin with logged off....i decided to read some more.
I got the pdf version of Love Story from esnips and read it at a stretch till 4:30 am ... :)
Loved the book, its kinda cute.... but i felt the same sadness at the end that i had felt when i had seen Romeo & Juliet. [for ppl who don't know i am a hopelessly romantic person, and i almost thrive on fairy tale mush]
Loved this one particular line from the book... "Love means not ever having to say you're sorry."
beautiful!!!.... and thats how i smiled to sleep in the morning.
