Complexities Vs Simplicities ... of the mind!

For all who don’t know the reason for my sudden sabbatical lemme tell you I can’t quite figure out myself. :-/ As I write this down I’m sittin in our half unpacked house {I haven’t yet gotten to callin it ‘home’, and yes there is a difference} with no access to the internet, no television, pathetic electricity situation and living with an enormous distance from everything I call my life. Sounds bad? It’s worse… I’ve been here since Tuesday night, and there hasn’t been one night that I’ve slept properly without shedding a few silent tears {sometimes more than a few}. You know the scrabble alphabets? Well just picture all of them in a box that has been shaken vigorously and then toppled and emptied…that’s exactly how all of my life’s letters have fallen out of place; each day has become a farrago. I don’t know how to really say how I feel. But if I can put it in words it would be depression from loneliness… Can’t even write further, it’s hard to explain. I only hope this mess called my l...

I hate washing my hair with bucket water using the mug, I have to have running water or a shower to wash my hair. 2. I’m very choosy about the food that I eat, and the combinations as well… alu puri khaani hai, not tari waale alu with roti and more of the kind. 3. Am a total stationery freak, love buying new pens and notebooks etc…makes me very happy :). Oh yeah I hate using pen on my books, always use pencil and I freak out if someone else writes using pen on any of my books or fair notebooks. 4. I have no knowledge about any kinda make up {the only thing I use is gloss} and I do not like goin to the parlour. 5. I cannot do the “hum aap” lingo…just not me! 6. I have the tendency to correct {politely of course} grammatical/spell...

This post was typed on my phone earlier in the day, is making its way to my blog now! Okay yeah I know day 5 came pretty late but atleast its here, Thanks for all the energy Zahid. ;) I was tagged by Akila to complete “Life would be different if…” and this is what I have to say after an immense amount of thought. Well any drastic change in my own self, like a change of who I am or what I am would have been an easy answer to this tag but what I sincerely wanna change is the way people are taken for granted. Oh well I’m not sure if I ever mentioned DJ or Tweets as I like to call her, here on my blog…but she sure deserves more than just a mention. We go long back and shes still the same sweet girl who used to write her own words on song tunes, talk in third person, put me in mad confs on yahoo, giggle uncontrollably over voice chat, discuss mosquitoes and nuts at wee hours of the night :D and of course pledge never to play antakshari with Dunut in conf. :) Its just so much fun talkin nonsense with her … she defines a very infectious kinda madness and it’s wonderful to hear her smiling. Recently when she came to blogger and dedicated her first post to me, I couldn’t have been happier to find out that I was still thought of so fondly and not a bit had changed. Can’t tell you how heartening that is!! Now if you ask me why I’m writing about her today…that’s coz I want to wish her a belated happy birthday, she celebrated her 18th on 28th February this year.
