Absense


Hey there dearies, I know I've been promising to be back in full form asap but theres this speed bump in the way so I thought I'd post an update.
Actually post the trojan fiasco {which btw got sorted}, my comp decided it needed to rest and it had put up with my timings enough so on the 14th of this month when i woke up in the afternoon {'twas a Saturday, I'm entitled to wake up late :P} I heard my Dad complain that the comp wasn't bootin. I was too sleepy to look into the matter just then but I realised that it had nothing to do with the magic of the master's touch and my comp won't even boot when I tried... :(
Anyways repairs of any kind were put off for Monday and thats when I turned my lappie in.
A week later, yesterday {yup a week :O, I have no idea how I survived} the comp guy tells me that there so huge hardware issue and he cannot find the IC (integrated circuit chip) they need to even try fixing my comp. If that doesn't work I would need to get the entire motherboard changed which would cost a fortune. So essentially my plan is to wait for my laptop thats due to arrive on 17th July and till then be content with just chkin my mails and replying to scraps from office - Mon to Fri.
Sorry peeps but I won't be able to read or comment much, but I promise I'll be back and read every single word...

and btw.. IC can easily be found in Nehru Place... and motherborad doesnt cost a fortune... either take it to some repair shop at NP or ask the guy to change the MB which costs some 1500 bucks... :D :D

here is the solution.. n when ur lappy comes.. the first.. .yes... u r right... :P

oh haan... hum IT walo ka saturday kobhi weekend hi hota hai.. bhool gaya.. maine socha sunday.. haan saturday ko rehta hai khula!!!

waise udhar u will get many who repair motherboard, it will hardly take some 300-400 rs!!! :D

Unexpected Knock

Yup that's exactly what I thought I should do today...knock on the door to my house in Blogsville. :) Howdy folks? I've been doing not too bad myself. Still finding my feet in a world that stops or pauses for no one. Anyway in other news, I'm going on a short 'temple-trip' next week to Pune-Shirdi-Nashik-Mumbai with my Mum and cousins. I know I'm not really a temple person but my camera will have some fun and I shall make up by shopping in whatever we have left :P So well, questions for people in Mumbai: 1) Can you help me find a decent serviced apartment/ budget hotel for 6 people (Double Rooms + 1 occupant) in an area that's close to the domestic airport for 2 nights? Random Update & Artwork

Hmmm so my exams ended and I was supposed to be free these past two weeks but i really wasn't. My sis in law was here and we were rarely at home, she had to meet so many relatives before goin back to the US. Anyways now that she's gone and a post has been due for longgg I'd better not delay it any further. I don't have anything super exciting to write about except that I'm gonna be starting my project training (first tryst with 'work') this Monday and I'm hopin I'll enjoy myself and feel productive at the same time. Besides that I've been listenin to pretty much the same songs since the beginning of the month... now with my playlist being extended to include loads of old Rafi songs and quite a few by Paolo Nutini {Bubbles' recommendation :)} And this month had birthdays of some really special ppl and some new frnds, Bubbles and Zahid on 12th, Pratham on 15th, Ankur on 17th and Supriya (my school frnd) who has her birthday tomorrow on the ...
